Prompts
- SNOW BLIND - It's snowing, a lot, and pristine landscape though it might create, it also brings plenty of problems, especially when you live in an Edwardian-style village with a serious lack of snow shovels. It's currently blizzard conditions and visibility is nil — Maybe you gave in and ducked into the nearest house for temporary shelter, and discover someone else had the same idea (or just lives there, oops). Maybe you're stubborn enough to still be out in it, struggling against the wind and snow. Or maybe you've tromped into the South Village Inn like a human popsicle, and are just hoping you don't lose any fingers before you make it to the fireplace.
- JUMPED-UP - Winter's here, which means it's the perfect time for an expedition to warmer, southern climes. You've joined a group following the river all the way down to the far southern beach, for fun and for science. On this latest break in your journey, you've spotted a large, jewel-colored feather and picked it up, maybe as a specimen to bring back or just a feather for your cap. Turns out it's an archaeopteryx feather, and you're now, well... let's call it a little gravity-challenged. Not a bad benefit once you figure out how to control it.
- COLD CALL - The snow has slacked off, leaving behind a winter wonderland. Sure, there's plenty to do, but after being cooped up inside for days, most people won't blame you for a morale-booster — That is, unless your way of starting a snowball fight is to pop up and throw them at unsuspecting passers-by. Making a snow man or snow angels might come with a little less retribution, but you do you.
- WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

Leia Organa | Star Wars
Leia happened up on him just as he started throwing snowballs. For a moment she stood there and wateched, knowing full well what she was going to do. At least the snow didn't give her away, she thought. It didn't appear that he had heard her approach which was perfect. She leaned over to pick up some of the snow and rolled it into a ball. She hadn't made a snowball snce she was a child but it wasn't as if you ever forgot that sort of thing.
When the ball was just the way she wanted it, Leia stood up and let it go. She had pretty good aim if she did say so herself so she wasn't at all surprised when the snowball hit Luke directly in the back of his head.

Shrieking in what was probably an extremely satisfying reaction to have elicited, he turned to locate Leia and immediately directed all five of his rotating snowballs unerringly towards her.

Finally she reached him and she gave him a push into the snowbank. "You cheated. Using the Force to get back at him is not fair. I can't do that so it doesn't count." Leia gave a haughty sniff and tried to walk away but all she did was trip and end up in the snow right next to him. She couldn't help but laugh though because they both looked completely ridiculous lying there covered with snow. Who would ever guess that had they been in their own world, they were two of the most respected people in the Rebellion.
>b>[That's awesome!]

"Not fair?" he demanded. "Like you would never take advantage of being short."

She gave a little huff of annoyance and shooh her hair, bits of snow flying everywehre. "I hate to admit it but that was kind of fun."
no subject
"Don't worry," he said dryly. "I won't tell Han you had any. Fun, I mean." He smirked at her. "Granted, the last time I saw snow I almost died, so basically anything is more fun."

Luke leaned over to nudge Leia with his shoulder. "I didn't say that to make you feel bad. I'm okay, yeah? It's all good--we're together, and we're safe." He looked around, squinting against the glare of sun on snow. "And one of these days, we'll figure out just where here is and how to get back."
no subject
"I'm glad we're together. It makes this seem a little less weird. Still weird but not as weird."

"We should probably get back," she said a little recluctantly. "although this is a lot of fun."

"And that was before Wampas and being visited by ghosts," he said, shrugging off her concern. "But this...?" He glanced around, smiling softly at the snow where it lined tree limbs. "This is ... nice, almost."
