Prompts
- SNOW BLIND - It's snowing, a lot, and pristine landscape though it might create, it also brings plenty of problems, especially when you live in an Edwardian-style village with a serious lack of snow shovels. It's currently blizzard conditions and visibility is nil — Maybe you gave in and ducked into the nearest house for temporary shelter, and discover someone else had the same idea (or just lives there, oops). Maybe you're stubborn enough to still be out in it, struggling against the wind and snow. Or maybe you've tromped into the South Village Inn like a human popsicle, and are just hoping you don't lose any fingers before you make it to the fireplace.
- JUMPED-UP - Winter's here, which means it's the perfect time for an expedition to warmer, southern climes. You've joined a group following the river all the way down to the far southern beach, for fun and for science. On this latest break in your journey, you've spotted a large, jewel-colored feather and picked it up, maybe as a specimen to bring back or just a feather for your cap. Turns out it's an archaeopteryx feather, and you're now, well... let's call it a little gravity-challenged. Not a bad benefit once you figure out how to control it.
- COLD CALL - The snow has slacked off, leaving behind a winter wonderland. Sure, there's plenty to do, but after being cooped up inside for days, most people won't blame you for a morale-booster — That is, unless your way of starting a snowball fight is to pop up and throw them at unsuspecting passers-by. Making a snow man or snow angels might come with a little less retribution, but you do you.
- WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

It was a younger Jarvis than he had ever known. Par the course at this point, honestly, but he couldn't keep his shoulders from slumping.
He had Bruce and Rhodey. Wanting Jarvis here in any capacity would be fucking greedy. "This is a hell of a lot better than standing out in the cold, let me tell you. Grab a chair by the fire, I think I've got a kettle in here somewhere-"
no subject
"And yes, being inside is quite preferable to being out there. I pity anyone who has yet to find their way indoors." And a good part of him wanted to venture back out there in case there were any unfortunate souls still languishing outside, however foolish that idea might be. "Thank you. That sounds lovely."
Jarvis was rather fond of a hot cup of tea- or, well, a hot cup of anything, with the weather being what it was.

It strikes him, then, that he can't quite remember how Jarvis took his tea. It's such a tiny, niggling little detail but it rocks him through for the three seconds it takes for him to shake it off. Doesn't matter.
"I mean- you work for my father." Let that sink in a little as he brings the cup and pot around, Kettle already steaming on the edge of the forge.

And while Jarvis may prefer his tea a very certain way, he's come to realize expecting things to be the way they've always been, especially in their current location, is a bit silly. Tea in any shape or form is preferable to no tea at all.
"Well- yes, I do." That much is the truth. But the Howard he knows doesn't have any children, so this situation has become considerably more interesting. "Ah, I hope you'll forgive the question, but I can't help but ask. You'd be referring to Howard Stark, I assume?" That could be a fairly big assumption, but considering he's his current employer, it's not as big as one might think.

Even if its probably already pretty fucking weird.
"I'm Tony. Anthony. His one and only kid. I'm kind of a late life choice- he gets on and realizes suddenly that he kind of needs an heir for the company." Or maybe he loved Maria. Who knows? Tony never got a chance to ask, never got a chance to learn.
It hangs in the air for a moment before he pours Jarvis his cup, stirred three times counterclockwise to dissolve the sugar. Or was it four? Decades old memories get fuzzy in the middle of a blizzard, apparently. "Here."
