2. It cannot be the character's arrival into the game.
3. Please only test new characters who do not have a version in the game. Our cast list is here.

→ TDM threads cannot be used to meet AC, but if the character is accepted into the game and both players agree, you may keep the CR.

Prompts

  1. STAYING POWER - Go down to the bunker, they said. You can get yourself amazing powers from the vending machine, they said. Well, you've done that, and you've made your choice, but one thing nobody told you was that unless it's a power you're familiar with, you might be on a teensy bit of a learning curve when it comes to keeping it under control. You have a week to figure it out without killing anyone; have fun!

  2. FORGIVE AND... - You poor thing, you've gotten into some dust moths. Not that you can remember that, because depending on how big that swarm was and how quickly you got out of it, you might not remember much at all. Better hope somebody's got some Forget Me Nots on hand.

  3. HIT & RUN - Life in the village can be pretty sleepy... until suddenly, it's not. Were you being a troublemaker? Were you disturbing the local wildlife? Because it's now disturbing you, chasing you down the street in front of everyone. Maybe it's a herd of chupapaca or a swarm of fireflies. Or maybe you went old school and it's just a really pissed off badger. Godspeed and good luck.

  4. WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

Texts

All characters are fitted with a smart watch-like device on their left wrist, which they can use to send text messages to other villagers.

- Texts may only be 140 characters long
- No video or voice, text only
- Display names may be changed by characters on the fly, but anyone can tap to see someone's real full name

Please list your CHARACTER NAME, CANON & PROMPT in your SUBJECT LINE.

Loki drags himself up beside her, water streaming off of him, and grins.

"Loki of Asgard," he says. "I'm not sure we were fleeing for our lives, per se, but definitely fleeing for our somethings."

"You don't know that. I've been warned the natural things around here can be quite bizarre and potentially dangerous. There's a list at the inn, but I didn't really read it." Classic Hawke. Too lazy at times to bother with facts like that when she's more likely to run into it, and then curse herself for not looking when she had the chance!

"Of Asgard, eh? That a city? I suppose I'm Hawke of Kirkwall then." It wasn't where she grew up, but it was home. Once.

"Fair enough. Asgard is... Well, it's just a city now, of course, but it used to be an entire realm in and of itself, but things change, even things that really, really don't want to." Often at Loki's very own hand. Usually at his hand, when it comes to Asgard. It sucks, sometimes, being a god bound to stories.

He shucks his shirt, and wrings it out before pulling it back on, and makes a face. Ugh. Wet. When he didn't particularly intend to be. He knows it could be worse, of course he does; they weren't caught in the... whatever it was... the moths were, or did. He's not sure how he knows, but he definitely knows that much.

Hawke considers the word realm because she's not entirely sure she has a concept for it. Not a country then. "So you mean like an entire planet?" That seems like the safest bet. She doesn't think much about her world that way. She's only been too a few corners of it, and that's fine with her. "How'd it get turned into a city?" It's probably an intrusive question, but she doesn't consider that much. She's been known to say whatever's on her mind, which is how she gets scolded for talking about killing people to their face. Maybe they shouldn't be so deserving of killing, just saying.

Oooh, that's a good idea. Hawke has no shame to speak of so she has no problem doing the same, pulling her shirt off and wringing it. She has a binding on her breast, and she's used to keeping company on the road with a lot of people. Modesty means nothing. "Sorry about drenching us both but didn't seem like running away was doing much good."

Sorry for the delay; internet's been down

Modesty is for people who have something to be modest about. Clearly, nothing that applies to either them, fine specimens that they are.

"An entire planet, yes, that's the best way of looking at it. The short answer to your other question..." He trails off a moment, almost hesitant, and tips his head back to look at the sky, as if searching for something that he knows will not be there.

"'Catastrophic magic', I suppose. The long answer is... very long indeed, a tale of gods, and heroes, and villains." He gestures broadly, flicking a bit of water dramatically from the ends of his fingers. It obligingly glitters in the pale sun. "Deeds both noble and dark, good and evil, et cetera, and so on... you get the idea."
