Prompts
- STAYING POWER - Go down to the bunker, they said. You can get yourself amazing powers from the vending machine, they said. Well, you've done that, and you've made your choice, but one thing nobody told you was that unless it's a power you're familiar with, you might be on a teensy bit of a learning curve when it comes to keeping it under control. You have a week to figure it out without killing anyone; have fun!
- FORGIVE AND... - You poor thing, you've gotten into some dust moths. Not that you can remember that, because depending on how big that swarm was and how quickly you got out of it, you might not remember much at all. Better hope somebody's got some Forget Me Nots on hand.
- HIT & RUN - Life in the village can be pretty sleepy... until suddenly, it's not. Were you being a troublemaker? Were you disturbing the local wildlife? Because it's now disturbing you, chasing you down the street in front of everyone. Maybe it's a herd of chupapaca or a swarm of fireflies. Or maybe you went old school and it's just a really pissed off badger. Godspeed and good luck.
- WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.
Texts
All characters are fitted with a smart watch-like device on their left wrist, which they can use to send text messages to other villagers.
- Texts may only be 140 characters long
- No video or voice, text only
- Display names may be changed by characters on the fly, but anyone can tap to see someone's real full name

"Well, assuming yon wildlife doesn't discover a way to follow us," he begins, following her carefully up; the smaller branches creak ominously under him, as if he's heavier than he looks. "We wait for them to go by, wait a little longer for stragglers, and then wait longer still, until someone happens along to ask why the Hel we're up a tree. In the meantime, we devise clever answers to the question."
See, he totally has a plan.

"Do you know what I think? I think that we, Loki, really should stay in motion. There's no fun in just sitting around thinking up excuses. Not when we can be exploring and meddling instead."
no subject
"Lady's choice, the-- whoa!!" The branch beneath his feet gives way with a sharp crack, and he barely manages to leap to another, and then yet another when that one gives way too. That one holds, though it, too, creaks under his weight. "Might I suggest we head for that roof?" he asks, gesturing to a sturdy-looking buidling a little further away.
no subject
It takes quite a leap on her part, but eventually she does catch hold of the edge of the rooftop. Her hands are white knuckled as she scrambles to try and hoist herself up. It's not a competition, not exactly, but she wants to prove herself just as capable as he is.
"How long have you been here, exactly?"
no subject
"Long enough to be very annoyed by some of features of this place," he replies. "No Internet, for one. I like the Internet. You?"
no subject
Once she's certain all her hairs are in place, she makes her way over to brush past him, grabbing his hand in the process. They've got rooftops to hop along, and not a second to waste!
"Besides, what fun is limiting yourself to things like Tumblr and Twitter?"
no subject
"I suppose," he continues thoughtfully, pausing a moment to give her a boost over a much wider than usual gap. "It's the being unable to leave that I like the least. I'm used to coming and going as I please, you see."
Not that he believes this place can hold him for long. Nothing else has ever been able to. Sure it may take a century or so, and that is definitely annoying, but at least he has thumbs this time.
no subject
She comes to a stop at the edge of a rooftop, peering out at the village around them. "I'm hoping to find a way out. I've been told it can't be done, but nothing is impossible."
no subject
A snatch of conversation reaches his ears, and he abruptly holds a finger to his lips, and drops flat, inching up to the edge of the roof to listen.
