Prompts

July is going to be wet and wild, villagers. Keep an eye to the sky and hold onto your hats!

1. SAVING FACE - Look at you, trying to save that goat or dog or ZALPACA that's gotten stranded in a particularly nasty storm! You're a regular hero, trudging up that cliffside or swiming across that creek! Unfortunately, the sky didn't get the memo about your heroics, and it's just opened up even more. Finishing this job just got a heck of a lot worse. Good thing someone else just showed up to help both you and your animal pal. You hope. It's possible they're just there to laugh at you.


2. PANTS ON FIRE - You know what's great? When the storm breaks, the skies start to clear and everything looks sunny again. You know what's not? When the weather pushes the LYING MIST down from the mountainside while you're out trying to clean up. Hope you don't have any whoppers you're trying to keep secret!


3. SINK OR SWIM - The days when it's not storming are just beautiful, and the village river is running high. There are spots out of the current that are perfect for a cool dip or lounging on the shore, but take care you don't go out too far and get swept away. Oh, and watch out for the RAINBOW CRABS, those claws are sharp.


4. WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

It wasn't difficult to imagine the look on Vergil's face as Dante staggered up with a handful of broken ribs and a bruised back. It wasn't an ideal scenario for Dante and while Kat felt a little uneasy about sneaking Dante into the house, it didn't sound like a horrible idea.

"You can climb in through my window. If you want too." It might hurt but the option was there if Dante wanted to take it.

Kat's gaze focused on the path in front of them as she continued to answer his question. "Not often but I've been told it happens. I had only been a day or two after I arrived. We got clothes and soap." Among other things. "There was a jukebox and pizza."

"Floor level?" Because climbing up the back of the house didn't feel like something his body was going to let him do. If challenged, he'd have to try, but he was hoping for an easier path.

"Jukebox and pizza is all I need.. and beer... and my guns.." Strippers were left out, only because Kat was next to him. If his hand wasn't entangled in hers, he would have grabbed her ass. "You.." He looked over at her, smiling crookedly.

"Floor level. My room is in the middle on the far side of the house. I can help you through the window if you really want to do that." She paused, glancing over at Dante. "Or we can use the front door." It was very possible that Vergil wasn't even home.

Kat liked talking about what they were going to do, it was easier, like being on one of their missions. But there were no missions here and it was harder to ignore the way that Dante looked at her or the way he made her pulse quicken.

Her blush wasn't going away anytime soon.

"Hopefully we find some of that here." She almost said that she was here but Kat stopped herself.
