Prompts
July is going to be wet and wild, villagers. Keep an eye to the sky and hold onto your hats!
- SAVING FACE - Look at you, trying to save that goat or dog or ZALPACA that's gotten stranded in a particularly nasty storm! You're a regular hero, trudging up that cliffside or swiming across that creek! Unfortunately, the sky didn't get the memo about your heroics, and it's just opened up even more. Finishing this job just got a heck of a lot worse. Good thing someone else just showed up to help both you and your animal pal. You hope. It's possible they're just there to laugh at you.
- PANTS ON FIRE - You know what's great? When the storm breaks, the skies start to clear and everything looks sunny again. You know what's not? When the weather pushes the LYING MIST down from the mountainside while you're out trying to clean up. Hope you don't have any whoppers you're trying to keep secret!
- SINK OR SWIM - The days when it's not storming are just beautiful, and the village river is running high. There are spots out of the current that are perfect for a cool dip or lounging on the shore, but take care you don't go out too far and get swept away. Oh, and watch out for the RAINBOW CRABS, those claws are sharp.
- WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

It won't be until the other was nearing the animal that he'd notice there was someone else slowing to a stop. Yes, he will be the random guy everyone will run into in the forest at least once during their stay.
And funnily enough, about 100 yards behind him is a very large, very intimidating moose.
Logan looks at the zalpaca, then Dante before gesturing back to the animal.
"You helpin' it?" he asks gruffly, completely unphased that the other is obviously new.
no subject
The sudden and unexpected company earned a sudden turn of Dante's black and white topped head, but the defensiveness in his posture faltered into something easy and cocky.
"Yeah. Not sure how I'm gonna get it down. Feel like playin' catch goat-ass?" He tilted his head, looking past the man and jutting his chin towards the moose in question. "Big ass guard dog?"
no subject
"You want to find out?" Logan returns the question with another one while waiting for an expression to indicate yes or no. When he does, he nods and looks back over to the animal in need of a rescue.
The antlers alone should make this question easy to answer.
no subject
He was lean and strong, powers or not, and the black and white haired man made surprisingly short work of the rock face, bearing his teeth at the demand of grip that threatened to be slick from the rain. Blue eyes darted down to Logan as he came up beside the terrified creature.
"YOU READY? HERE SHE COMES!" Dante scooped the kid off the rock and swiftly against his chest, holding steady for a half second before pitching the kid towards Logan. His grip slipped a little but was easily recovered once his left hand was free.
