Prompts
It's springtime in your brand-new home, villagers! Many exciting new experiences await you, although you might want to take care; not all are for the faint of heart.
- NEW FRIENDS - Congratulations, you are now the lucky recipient of the undying love and devotion of your very own CROC-DOG. Maybe you fed it, or maybe you just didn't run away screaming when you saw it. Regardless, it's your buddy now through thick and thin. Constantly. Everywhere. All the time. We hope you're up for some companionship!
- LET YOUR EENT SHINE DOWN - You've come across a SHINE BIRD. You heard its call. Now you can expect an hour's worth of sudden, intense increase in one of four emotions: Joy, sorrow, rage or loneliness. It's entirely possible you'll be apologizing to some people tomorrow.
- SPRING IN SPRING - Hey look, it's everybody's favorite prompt: It's warm enough now that it's not completely crazy to go have a dip in the HOT SPRINGS. Naked. And then accidentally get caught.
- WILDCARD - Choose your own adventure. Maybe play powers roulette.

"Did you need an escort in the woods, my lady? I know them well. I hunt here nearly every day."
He knew that some weren't as comfortable among the trees as he was and he liked to help, if he could.
no subject
It was a kind offer, one she might have brushed aside with a gentle laugh, had she her powers still. But mortality echoed against her heart and even without concentrating, she could recognize how frail her limbs were compared to what they once were. "I'm often in these woods, but I should like the company. I'm tempting the Fates."
She tucked her basket in the crook of her arm, overflowing with different herbs and wild plants. "If you don't mind joining me, I was thinking of collecting a few peaches."
no subject
"I would be happy to escort you, my lady. Once we have finished gathering them, I'll be happy to walk you back to the village as well."
no subject
She understood that he was offering to protect her, the idea still novel to her. "I would rather you come for company than out of nobility. I lived alone for a long time. I forgot what it was like to have someone to talk to...someone that could talk back."
no subject
It was the least he could do if she wanted to venture out on her own in the future. "There is a lot to see and do here but there are perils as well."
no subject
Her sister and Hermes would laugh and maybe this was another joke at her expense, the goddess who loved mortals. Not only was she one, but she needed a portal's protection.
But this wasn't his doing and she shouldn't be angry with him. "I have come into these woods every day since I arrived, I can manage." Which wasn't quite true, without her magic, she had nothing. "I've lived alone a long time, I know how to look after myself."
no subject
"It is just in my nature to take care of a woman who crosses my path whether she needs it from me or not."
no subject
"I know you meant no harm." She said, letting her frustration seep from her. "My usual means of protection is not...available to me here." Not yet at least. She had done her best to gather plants, to speak the words of power, but nothing came. Either her will wasn't strong enough or something was blocking her powers. It was hard to say.
"I would be glad for your help." She hesitated before offering a name, curious if it would mean something to him. "I am Circe, daughter of Helios."
no subject
"Are you afraid because you don't have men loyal to you that surround you? No soldiers to protect you?"
no subject
His question is enough to make het chuckle. Soldiers? Who would be inspired enough to see her as they served the Olympians? "I lived alone, no soldiers or servants. All I had was magic...but my spells have not worked since I arrived."
no subject
"Magic. Do you use the blood of innocents to work this magic? That is how it works in Westeros."
no subject
She shook her head, trying not to laugh at the idea. "Magic is largely will and herbs. I use plants to create potions and speak a word of power. That's all." If her will faltered, the spell would fail, but that wasn't necessary to say. Her pride, what little there was, didn't want her to share that much.
no subject
"We do not know much of magic here. It is a different world."
no subject
"Perhaps we are all in exile? Pulled from our world's for one reason or another."
no subject
"I haven't been able to discover the reason for it and I have been here nigh upon two years now," Jon explained. "We mostly help one another here, though, so if we are all exiles it seems that we are good people in spite of it. There has not been anyone to come here and do harm to others."
If there had been, Jon would have been among the first to stop them. As it was, it seemed that they were pitted against this world itself and not one another.
"If you are skilled in herbs, that will help many of us. There isn't much medicine here."
no subject
But it wasn't something she wanted to think about. There was pleasant company behind her and the trees were comforting above her. It wasn't her island, but this place could be warm if she grew used to it.
"This is a community then? A true village?" Mortals fought and bickered, but they weren't nearly as cruel as gods. If there was delight in their suffering, it wasn't as open or sought after as her family often did.
"I will need to familiarize myself with the ones in this forest. I know a few now after testing them, but they're strange to me. I will have to make a garden, if I could enlist your help. Making the fence will be a bit difficult."
