Squall would be the first person to say that Laguna was immature, and a lot of other things besides. The second-hand embarrassment was bad enough when Squall was living through Laguna's memories. The fact that he was related to the man--that he was his son--made it that much worse.
So rather than entertain himself, Squall was out to bring back more supplies--wood for the fire, at least, and meat if he was successful.
He was so intent on his goal that he only dodged the snowball at the last second. Narrowing his eyes, he huffed when he saw who it was. Laguna. His father. He shouldn't be surprised. And the fact that it was his father made Squall's feathers ruffle all the more.
