"That's pretty kind of you considering-" He paused to swipe a few more utensils away from him, "we just met." But he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth or complain when a very capable woman was offering to help him out.

He let out a breathless laugh at her sharp retort, sparing her a quick look. "Well when I have this under control, we'll have to see about that. It's a pleasure to meet you Ashley. I'm Ty."

And while running away from a bunch of kitchen utensils was definitely not glamorous, Ty was willing to take it at this point. He set the stool back down carefully, mentally willing the utensils to drop where they were or to at least slow down. With a small wave to Ashley and a here goes nothing, he turned on his heel and started sprinting towards the woods. He heard a few more ominous crashes and things breaking, but he resisted the urge to look over his shoulder, focused on his goal instead.
