Cissie relaxes a little at the sentiment; it isn't that she was afraid to go inside with a man she's only just met, but she's not a complete fool. She also knows he could easily just be saying that kind of thing to put her at ease, but for now, she's inclined to set aside her cynicism and hope he's being sincere. "Since I'm not sure who Evie is, and wouldn't recognize her if I saw her, I'd say your secret is safe with me." The smile fades quickly as she glances back out the door. "It is pretty nasty out there, though. Do you think she's out in that?"
