Very weird, Seifer would have to question Squall's if he knew. His friends had pulled him away to go try to relax and do something normal, which was wonderful of them and had helped immensely, but it will take more than a few fishing trips to heal those wounds. He'll get there, in time, right now he had plenty of reasons to wonder if he hadn't cracked and gone completely insane considering the circumstances.
Squall being older than him would take a lot of getting used to.
Angry? No. Ashamed. Guilt-ridden, disgusted with himself, envious. Those might all be more apt. As well as confused, very confused, he was having a hard time understanding why Squall wasn't acting like he was the biggest piece of garbage on the planet right now. Why didn't he hate him after everything he'd done? It didn't make much sense.
"If it's taken you a month to get one table leg, Leonhart, I'm gonna have to say carpentry ain't your calling." Of course he knows there's more to it than just whittling. Not that he knows what, mind you, but badgering Squall is what he does. Although there's a pause at the second statement, one eyebrow arching in disbelief. "Say again?" Maybe Squall's the one losing his marbles.
