Alfred has been protecting Bruce most of his life, at first because Thomas Wayne told him to, and maybe afterward because he wanted. Because Bruce was the last of his family. He's known the younger man long enough to know that Bruce is not the most openly affectionate person. That he will make himself into a laughingstock to protect the city and people that he loves. And that he is in possession of a frightening amount of knowledge and abilities, and the will to use all of them.

Here and now, though, it's just the two of them. Stranded somewhere without their permission. Maybe it's time to let Bruce defend and protect Alfred with his formidable arsenal. Even if it's just with a blanket.

"Some, not lots. I'm working my way through the village. Just stopped by to warm up. Going to share that tea?"
