Jumped Up

Dick had always felt more comfortable in the air. Or on his hands. Or anywhere that wasn't on two feet and doing nothing but just standing around and waiting for things to happen to you. He was the kind of guy who liked to do things, not wait for them to take place. Which was why flying through the air with the greatest of ease had always suited him, from when he was a kid, to the man he was now.

"I'll pay real money for you to find a long straw and a bottle of water!" Calls out from where he's sort of floating near the ceiling. Which is what he's doing, he's flying, sort of. Floating near the ceiling. He's also upside down, because that's how Dick rolls sometimes.

Who knew that having a feather was going to make you do something you'd wanted to do ever since you were a little kid? And here he was, flying. Really flying, like Superman, not just throwing himself off a building and into another one. Dick had always wanted to fly, he'd just expected there to be... some other things that went along with it.

Cold Call

Snow days were the best. The snow in Gotham was never really that white, pristine kind of snow that was great for snow balls and sledding. No, it was always grey, kind of sludgey. Turned to slush really quickly, with lots of cars driving through it and making it turn gross.

And forget about going out and doing fun things in it! Like sledding, and snow balls, and did he mention sledding and snow balls? Because Dick might be a grown man, but he was a little kid at heart and always would be. So of course, he was going to be throwing snow balls at people as they passed by.

Prepared to be stealthily snowballed! Dick picked up some snow, rolled it into an almost perfect ball, took very careful aim, and fired at the first unsuspecting person that he saw.

[Dick starts first humming a song, and then full on singing it.] At first I was afraid I was petrified thought that I could never live without you by my side-- quick, sing me a song and help me get this one out of my head! I beg of you, I'll do anything to get this song out of my head right now!
