Truthfully, Bruce might be overly cautious, but he's also not wrong. Rhodey gives him a sidelong look that's half smirk and half rueful smile. There's been times when he and Tony haven't been irrevocably attached, and he knows that someone else was the steady hand then, and that sometimes it was Bruce. The caution - it's not a bad thing.
