"Ah, well," says Kurt, thoughtfully. For as much as he's explained his faith before, he so rarely has ever had to explain the concept of religion itself to anyone. There were certainly worlds he visited during all that cross-time capering without any formal organized religions, he's sure, but he'd never spent quite so long in any of them as here, at least not with a chance to develop things like downtime and routines.
"Well, I believe in a divine creator," he starts. "And the son he sent to Earth to save mankind from our own sins- misdeeds, acts of evil," he explains, clearly giving his words some careful thought as he goes. "To pray is to speak to God, to ask for His guidance in my life and the choices I make. Back home, people often gather to do this together, to connect with a community of faith and tradition. There are many different ideas about God, or whether He exists or not, and what our creators desire for humanity."
He offers him the prayer book if he's curious, still open to the Prayer of St. Francis- a prayer requesting guidance to live a more selfless life in service to others, to be a figure of comfort and understanding.
