It only occurs to her now that Dorian being here means he has no magic. To Hawke, nothing really changed, she has no magic to speak of as Bethany got all those talents in the family. But it's been on her mind that Bethany would hate being there without them now, and Dorian probably even more so. Hawke softens toward him just a tad at that thought. She is, after all, a strong mage sympathizer. For all the good it did her.
