Bruce half-smiled. "I'm a doctor too." And he usually knew better than to trust any doctors to be honest, but here he was. As far as he could tell none of the inhabitants of this place was actively aggressive or dangerous. It was the rest of the situation that was. He was the opposite of trusting ordinarily. "Sometimes a people doctor." He'd been one out of necessity in places who needed one, and he had plenty of the education leading up to it, but no real license.
