Bruce started to stare, but then he stopped staring, which meant he looked away to the rest of the room which he wondered if it was even more noticeable than when he was staring. It just seemed very rude. The Hulk hated when people stared at him. They were connected enough to share glimpses like that of each other. This was not expected, but it also was not beyond the realm of understandable, so he slowly nodded in greeting, still sucking in air whenever possible.
"Yes," he whispered, and paused before taking the offered plant. He knew, he knew, not to just swallow what strangers gave you. Bruce didn't know this creature. But it also was rude to ignore something that seemed genuine, and he hovered in uncertainty. "Thank you." A pause. "I'm Bruce."
