[He rises out of the water and shakes out one of his feet like a dog. Bits of sludge splatter behind him as he shrugs his shoulders. He's gone for a few moments before emerging with a big leaf and several plants stacked on it in the nearby reeds.]

[Kneeling, he begins to sort through the plants on his leaf, big hands gently moving them around.]
Plants and humans aren't symbiotic creatures but they do have a relationship. Just like every piece of nature does to each other. By this point most plants have accepted it. They're used for houses or for cooking. Hell, gastro-intestinal microbes help digest plants.
[This is why he was here. This is what he wanted to do. Help people and use plants but the green had other ideas. Frowning, he turns over a rather large thick patch of what looks like asparagus.]
The problem with humans is they take too much. That'd make anybody anxious. Like...Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders. Homer keeps borrowing his tools and never returning them. It's...annoying but he still wants to help the guy out.
[Finding what he's looking for he stares at it before handing it to Billy. Slimey white...leaves.]
Wash that off and chew on it if you don't want to make tea. And thanks. I haven't thought about television in years.
