Cougar just grins a little bigger when Jake starts talking more, talks like he's actually worried. He's already calculating exactly what he plans to do, but Jake will just have to wait and see. It's okay, though. He suspects that Jake is going to eventually like what Cougar has in store for him.

He might even be grateful to that awful experience with the red salt, but that's for him to decide later.
