Jake yelps, a playful shocked sound. Not that he isn't used to Cougar putting Jake where he needs him. Doesn't mean the sound doesn't come with it. He makes a face, but takes the bite though he looks fairly petulant about it as he eats it.

"I'll be fine. I was an idiot. I acted stupid. I'll be fine. Just in my head," he says, figuring that is probably true. But he doesn't move away, waiting for another bite to come.
