He nodded slightly at her thanks and tugged her forward so his free hand could catch her head. It might seem like he was going to try to kiss her, but instead he pressed a kiss into her hair.

"Nah. He and I need to work this out by ourselves. We might fight about it but.. We'll work it out. C'mon," he said, stepping past her and keeping their hands together. "I could use some of that weed. Or painpills or something."
