Kat wasn't going to leave Dante behind. She steadied the nervous creature and held onto it's pink curly fur while slipping beneath Dante. "This might hurt." Her hand pulled his arm over her shoulder and she lifted him with help of the young zalpaca.

He was so heavy but Kat slowly began to pull him and guide the zalpaca towards the cave.

"We need to get you warm." He was insane if he thought she was going to leave him behind. They couldn't start a fire in this weather, they had no fuel, so they'd have to stay close to keep warm and if Dante lost too much body heat it'd be useless.
