Kat saw the scene happen in slow motion from a few feet below Dante. She reached out to him but her fingers only grazed his foot as he fell. Kat almost had her own hasty decent before clinging to the wall and scrambling down. Down was easier than up and she quickly appeared at Dante's side, holding out a hand to calm the frantic animal.

She didn't want it to get stuck again.

"Dante. Are you okay?" She breathed hard as she tried to attend to him and stop the pink creature from bolting into the darkness. Kat had never thought she was good with animals though it seemed to sense her calm.

"I know you're hurt but we should keep moving. Somewhere out of the rain." There is worry and discomfort in her tone as she continues to slit her attention between the wounded Dante and the frantic zalpaca.

This was turning into a very interesting day, as most days with Dante seemed to go.
