Sirius is having a staring contest with a croc-dog. Well, if he had his proper powers, he would be having a friendly game of tug of war as Padfoot. Now, though, he’s holding the dog’s gaze until he tosses a piece of fish for it to catch. At least the creature’s taken a liking to him; people tend to avoid you when you look like you’ve been stuck in prison for a few years. He looks a little thin, haunted, but it disappears when he gives the dog-thing a grin.

“Alright, do you know how to play fetch? It’s not so hard.”
